# Supported and recommend codecs

EXAPLAY supports a wide range of compressed video contents (H.2634, H.265, ProRes, etc.). In addition, it provides a very capable implementation for GPU accellerated codecs: HAP-family (HAP, HAP\_alpha, HAP\_Q, HAP\_Q Alha) and NotchLC.\
